What A Year

All in all, it's not been bad year. I've had a full time job for the whole of it, finally got my bedroom and my son's bedroom carpeted, but most of all readers have purchased over 20 of my books over the course of the year. Without any advertising on my behalf.

Next year is looking better still. I may be directing my first ever play, which I also wrote, I'm writing a second and I should have my third novel finished. Also, I shall be doing a bit of promotion for my first book in the new year using a book trailer that's a little different from the norm.

In the meantime, here's a little something to leave you smiling as 2014 comes to a close.

As long as there are people like this, humanity's heart will never die.

See you in 2015 with some Friday laughs.

Friday Fun

Did you have a good Christmas Day? I did. I had all three boys round for the day, a rare treat.

Parenting is a much discussed subject, but sometimes a picture paints a thousands words as these pictures of the reality of parenting show. Sometimes kids lose things. But when adults lose stuff on the London underground,well....what they leave can be surreal. Their destination isn't surreal.

Art can divide, but sometimes it just astounds. 30 3D drawings that will amaze you and 25 sculptures that will leave you thinking WOW!

Picture time.

And that grin signs off Christmas.  Have a great weekend.
