Friday Fun

Oddbox. A flaming carpet, the worlds oldest body builder and a one ton donner kebab.

Last week I posted about the towns of Dull and Boring, well this week how about some more odd town names, such as Hole, Piles and Ugley collected by BBC website readers.

And now, for the pictures.

On Monday I'll have a guest poster, SC Skillman. In the meantime, have a great weekend.

Loved the zombie one. At least they were standing still. The really scary ones have cars.

I LOVE the cartoon of the pencil having dinner with its editor!

Hilarious as usual! We included the same one in our posts today (the parked car). :)

Love the "i" in team!

Jeff: The scariest ones have lorries.

Chloe: That one still makes me smile.

Dana: People who park like that deserve four flat tyres. Not that I'm vengeful in any way.

Hearing about a town called Piles and then seeing Jabba the Hut just made my day!

Deana: Hopefully they'll keep you happy all weekend.

All super funny, especially the one about interrupting in the middle of someone's sentence and being weird. But I laughed out loud at the last one. Awesome Friday funnies.

Loved the zombie one. :)
And the I in team. :)

Best comeback I ever heard on "There's no 'I' in 'Team'" was from a kid who said, "Yeah, but there's one right in the middle of 'WIN.'"

Patti: I aim to please.

Lisa: Brilliant comeback. Did he live long enough to enjoy the moment? ;)

See, I knew there was an "i" in team. :P

Love the Lifesavers--ew, assholes--"to do" list and Dr. Suess quote.

And everybody sing: "I got the moooobs like jabba..." (never listen to that song again without thinking of this...lol)

Defcon: All it needed was someone to point it where the 'i' was.

DRC: I assume you're thinking of the Nolans hit, 'I'm in the mood for dancing'.

I've seen it before, but I love the to do list. I still plan on trying the "It Worked!" line item.

And the Marry Him graphic. I'd marry the guy, too.

I always thought there had to be an I somewhere in team. Thanks for pointing it out! :)

Oh, gee. I nearly forgot. We have a town called Boring in Maryland, as well as a town called Accident.

Laura: I've thought of doing the time travel one, but I'd only do it if there were cameras around to record it.
