Friday Fun

First up, Oddbox. This week, swimming in an icy pool, Ice golf and the First Lady beats Ellen deGeneres at press ups.

Picture time. Some funny, some thoughtful and some just...well...strange.

And, just in case you've forgotten, I will be on blogtalkradio talking about...me, my past and my writing on February 19th, 6.30pm EST.

Very happy you shared them...I am a gigantic Lego person too, so that photo totally rocked, and of course the cat thing is fact! ...and how did you know one of my two dogs sleeps exactly like that second photo? just amazing stuff here...and if possible I hope to hear you on the radio...keep us posted closer to air time too...just in case...you know how life goes at times!

Okay, the top one made me tear up. I loved the cat one. Sleeping with pets -- ewww! And anything that makes fun of Twilight is okay with me.

Haha oh man, these pictures had me laughing. Especially the sibling picture! Although the top one was really sweet.

Karen: They're all off facebook, quite a few from George Takei's page.

Chloe: Isn't it just. I love the 3D chalk artwork.

Lisa: Vampires rock, Twilight...is for teenage girls.

Cailtin: The sibling one is SOOOO true. Had me laughing out loud.

Deana: As Will Riker once said, 'I plan to live for ever'.

I think my favorite is the wheelchair ballerina. My full length mirror, which reflects me as thinner than I am, does this for me.

As for sidewalk 3-D artists, they astound and confound me. I can't wrap my head around their talent. I hope to see one in person some day - to see how it's done.

Shrink: The 3D artists can take days to draw one of those images, during which they hope it doesn't rain and people don't scuff it.
