A Good Play

Seen a good play recently? Excellent, as I need your expert opinions.

The drama group are currently considering plays for next May and we want something light, though not necessarily humourous. Something with a happy ending, that is easy to stage.

What do you think would be good?

Well I have to say I'm a HUGE fan of Joseph and the techni color dream coat but that seems to be a huge undertaking. Still it's my al time fav!

A bit too large for us, especially in the costume department. But I agree, it is a great play.

I've seen Midsummer Night's Dream done very simply and minimalist. It was one of the best plays I've seen.

As You Like it could be done this way, too.

What I love about Shakespeare is that you can set those stories in any time period and bend them in lots of ways.

Interesting. The group wants to stay away from the bard this time though.
